Lee Roy Selmon's story combines the benefits of football scholarship and community service. First family he is the youngest of nine children of Lucious the Jessie and Lucious Selmon. They grew up on a farm at Eufala, Oklahoma. Two soccer. He is among three brothers who participated in the football team of Oklahoma. All three were All-Americans. One year 1973 Lucious Jr. Dewey and Lee Roy were starters. Lee Roy has won both the Outland Award and the Lombardi Award for being the nation's best lineman. For three seasons as the team's starter, Oklahoma went 32- 1-1 and won two national championships. He was awarded a third scholarship in 1975 and named as an National Football Foundation Student-Athlete. Selmon has a bachelor's degree in education. He settled down in Tampa after graduation, and playing for the Buccaneers for nine seasons and was three-times all-pro. The business venture he started began. In 1993, he was appointed the assistant director of Athletics at University of South Florida. In 1993, the College Football Hall of Fame was named for his in 1998.
