In 2017 Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee released Despacito and it was the top-streamed track in just the space of six months. It was a blend of pop and reggaeton that not only drew attention to Latin music but as well reggaeton. Billboard's Top 100 featured two songs which were Spanish mostly, and four in 2016. Despacito's popularity Despacito was at its highest in 2017. In 2020, 41 mostly Spanish songs will be included in the Top 100. Justin Bieber re-mixed Despacito with a Spanish version in 2017. In the year following, famous artists started working with reggaeton acts. Drake teamed with Bad Bunny to create MIA (2018) and Madonna collaborated on Medellin together with Maluma (2019). The gradual mainstreaming of reggaeton became an issue for some artists by the year 2020. Rauw alejandro and a younger generation determined to maintain the style. He used elements from other styles and electronic music.
